Welcome to 4.2 - Ms. Amy
Conference Time Again!
Three Way Conferences are upon us again. Please note that I will be meeting with parents ONE WEEK LATER than the other teachers at ENS. I will be in school on February 10th, however, I will be attending a training session off-campus immediately after dismissal.
As a result, I will be scheduling time for parents on the following Tuesday, February 17th, from 1:30-5:30 pm. Please see the available times listed below this advert.

Greetings! My name is Amy Dobbs and I am excited to be a part of the Emirates National School.
I was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the USA. After college, I moved to the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia in the southern USA. Atlanta was my home for many years before venturing across the Atlantic in 2013. When I have free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, making new friends, spoiling my kitties, container gardening, decorating, and learning new customs.
I recently moved here from a small town in Bavaria, Germany in mid-August 2014 with my husband and 3 wonderful cats. While in Germany, I taught English/Language Arts and Humanities to grades 6-8 in an international school. Prior to that, I taught Reading for nine years to grade 8 students in the public schools outside of Atlanta, Georgia. I love sharing the excitement when a student finally makes a connection with a book and discovers the joy of reading.
