Animal Research
This unit is an exploration of the structures (organs, traits, and qualities) that help plants and animals survive in their environments. Each student will have the chance to choose an organism (plant or animal) to research. We will use http://www.enchantedlearning.com to find the animals, and use the pictures to draw and label our own diagrams!
Design an Animal
Use switchzoo to design a new kind of animal! You can mix up the heads, bodies, and tails of many different kinds of animals to make your own. As you're creating, be sure to think about what kind of environment your animal would need to survive.
